What we collect from you, and how we use it

We need to collect personal information from you for purposes of registration and communication, and we are at pains to ensure that we ask only for essential information, without which we cannot provide you with our full range of services.

Please Note: Individuals under the age of eighteen are expressly prohibited from submitting to SeniorSitters or posting to the website any personally identifiable information about themselves.

SeniorSitters collects and stores personal information in several ways at different parts of our website. This information may include your legal name, email address, age and gender, User ID, User Password. Apart from disclosure requirements of the above Acts of Parliament, we do not disclose your personal information to any other party unless you grant specific approval where and if this is requested on any of our information forms. 

However, we reserve the right to aggregate non-specific information for statistical and other marketing purposes.

SeniorSitters will take all reasonable steps and security methods to protect the personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Where appropriate, we use passwords and other techniques to protect you and your privacy.

From time to time you may receive information about SeniorSitters products, services and other items we believe to be of interest. However, you may contact us at any time to request that your name be removed from our distribution list.

In order to maintain the highest possible standards of personalised service to our members, we may use devices known as cookies to store and sometimes track information about you, as well as reducing the time required for you to submit your requests and for us to respond to such requests. Updating information

While SeniorSitters has responsibilities to you, you also have responsibilities to us. Specifically these include maintaining and updating, as applicable, your membership registration details with current, accurate and complete information. You may view, update and/or edit your membership details at any time by logging in to your account and following the appropriate instructions.

The SeniorSitters website contains links to other websites and advertising. The privacy policies of those websites and advertisers may significantly differ from those of SeniorSitters.
