SeniorSitters (ABN 97 768 468 396) and our affiliates do NOT “screen” anyone who lists with us and it is a condition of the use of these websites and the services offered therein that SeniorSitters, its proprietors, servants, contractors or associates do not accept any responsibility and make no endorsement, warranty or representation as to the qualifications or credentials of any person listed with our service.

All persons listed with either SeniorSitters or our affiliated websites are independent of and not in any way to be considered employees or agents of either entity.

Information contained on the SeniorSitters and affiliated websites is accepted in good faith, but SeniorSitters and our affiliates cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions made in compiling listings, and no responsibility is accepted for the veracity of said information.

Under no circumstances will SeniorSitters, its proprietors or staff be liable for any direct or indirect consequences of any action or inaction made by anyone using this service.

Conditions of use

Please Note: The following conditions apply to use of the SeniorSitters website. Users of affiliated websites are subject to the Terms & Conditions laid down by those websites.

The use of the SeniorSitters website is restricted to Homeowners and to Housesitters over the age of 50.

Please Note: Individuals under the age of eighteen are expressly prohibited by law from submitting to SeniorSitters or posting to the websites any personally identifiable information about themselves.

By using affiliated websites to search for housesitting opportunities or send messages to Members, whether Homeowners or Housesitters, users agree and understand that SeniorSitters and its affiliates shall not be responsible or liable, either directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of, or reliance upon, the website to obtain search results and/or send messages to Members.

Registration

In consideration of the use of the website, users agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about themselves as prompted by the site's registration form (such information being the "Registration Details") and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Details to keep them true, accurate, current and complete.

If a user provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or SeniorSitters has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, SeniorSitters has the right to suspend, terminate, or refuse any and all current or future use of the website or any portion thereof.

Limitation of Liability

By use of the website users expressly understand and agree that SeniorSitters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages to property resulting from a Housesitting assignment, use, data or other intangible losses (even if SeniorSitters has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the website; (ii) the presence or actions of viruses, worms and other impedimenta; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the website; or (v) any other matter relating to the website or the content thereon, including without limitation any member content posted thereon.

Conduct

This Service is provided by SeniorSitters to individuals only. 

Unauthorised commercial use of the Service, or resale except by prior written agreement, is expressly prohibited.

Users agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under their accounts or passwords, including the content of transmissions through the Service.

Any misuse of the Service or departure from what is normally considered Reasonable Conduct may result in immediate withdrawal of Services.
